In discussion about EA’s financial results for the first quarter, Take-Two revealed the release date of the highly anticipated Bioshock Infinite. Originally planned for October of this year, Take-Two decided to push the newest installment to the franchise until 2013, claiming they felt that the game was unfinished and could use the extra time to polish the game even more.
While this was a let down for fans, people still keep their hopes up for the game. Now dated for February 26. The game’s release looks to be in sight, and we can all look forward to exploring city of Colombia, the new setting of Bioshock Infinite.
E3 has made it’s home in Los Angeles each year for sometime. Each year hundreds of publishers, developers, press and gamers alike all join up to see new games and sometimes new systems. Los Angeles will keep playing host up until 2015 for this major gaming convention. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said he was involved in the negotiations to keep the convention in the city. It was said back in June that the E3 might relocate over unresolved construction issues. They have announced the dates for next years E3, which will be held June 11-13 at the Los Angeles convention center.
