Assassin’s Creed to have DLC Season Pass, First DLC Detailed

Ubisoft has revealed that Assassin’s Creed will have a season pass, where players can pay early for all of the DLC for AC3 and get a 25% discount on the content. The pass, thought is thought to cost $30 and will allow access to all 4 story driven DLC packs for Assassin’s Creed 3. Season Pass holders will also get DLC  a week before regular buyers.

The first DLC pack, is titled “The Tyranny of King Washington”. The Story, which will be cut into 3 episodes is a “what if” scenario, in which George Washington, the first president of the U.S. decided that after driving off the british, he decided to establish a monarchy of his own.

“As the revolution comes to a close, a new and most unexpected enemy emerges. Driven by the desire to secure the fate of the colonies, the greatest hero of the revolution, George Washington, succumbs to the temptation of infinite power. The new King is born and his reign leaves no one untouched. To return freedom to the land our new hero must dethrone a tyrant he once called friend. Today, Ubisoft announces the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass offer, granting access to all five upcoming downloadable content packs to gamers owning the original game on PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, and Windows PC.”

Assassin’s Creed comes out October 30 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The Wii U version will launch Day 1 on the Wii U on November 18. The PC version will be available November 23.
